The Vaske lab began in 2018 when Olena Vaske started as a faculty member in the UCSC Molecular, Cell and Developmental Biology department, and an affiliate of the UCSC Genomics Institute. We are part of the Treehouse Childhood Cancer Initiative, founded by Dr. Vaske when she was a postdoctoral scholar working with her mentor David Haussler.
